As a business name holder, it’s important to always keep your business name details up to date. All updates must be made within 28 days of any changes to your information. Here you can find information about how to update your business name details.

How do I find my ASIC Key?

The ‘ASIC Key’ is a unique code specific to your business name. They usually look something like 1- 12345678901 (i.e. a 1, followed by a dash, then followed by 11 numbers. And you will need this in order to cancel your business name.

You can find it in your email inbox by searching for your “Welcome Letter” at the time you registered your business name, then open the PDF “Welcome letter” which contains your ASIC Key;
